‘Sycho’ Sid Eudy To Be Posthumously Inducted Into The WWE Hall of Fame

Sycho Sid

“Sycho” Sid Eudy, former WWE Champion, will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the legacy wing.

COO Paul “Triple-H” Levesque announced the news on social media. “No matter which moniker you knew him by, Sid’s intensity was palpable across the ring and through your TV screen. A multi-time champion in @WWE and WCW, and a two-time #WrestleMania main event, it’s a pleasure to announce that he will take his rightful place in the 2026 Legacy Class of the #WWEHOF,” he wrote.

The news of Eudy’s induction comes after his unfortunate passing in August 2024, following his battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. In 1989, Eudy made his debut in WCW and was a part of the tag team division as a member of The Skyscrapers. He would later join the Four Horsemen thanks to Ric Flair.

In 1991, he made his WWE debut and served as the special guest referee for Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior against The Triangle of Terror in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match.

He would later go on to headline WrestleMania 8 against Hulk Hogan in 1992 and again in 1997 at WrestleMania 13 against The Undertaker for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Sid Eudy will be a part of the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class along with Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, Demolition, and Dennis Rodman. The WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, following Friday Night SmackDown in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 42 weekend.
