Prayers Up for Ray J. The singer has reportedly been hospitalized in Las Vegas for pneumonia and heart pains.
According to reports, the “One Wish” singer received X-rays and an echocardiogram, but no further information has been released. The news of Ray J’s hospitalization comes a few years after his first health scare.
Back in 2021, the 44-year-old had a bout with pneumonia that was serious enough to draw concerns that it could have been fatal. The doctors in Miami revealed that he needed oxygen and an inhaler, but he made a full recovery. His illness was declared unrelated to COVID-19, although it happened during the pandemic.
Before his recent hospitalization, Ray J was arrested in November after getting into it with his ex-wife, Princess Love, while live-streaming on Twitch. He had accused her of being drunk while trying to take their two children from their house.
During the live stream, Ray J allegedly pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot Love. “I’ll kill you… Get the f**k out of here, you in my house,” he yelled. “I’ll shoot the f**k out of you.”
