    Ray J Breaks His Silence After Near-Fatal Hospital Stay

    Ray J gives fans a health update after his near-fatal hospital stay earlier this month.

    The “One Wish” singer went on Instagram and revealed that his heart is beating at 25% due to his excessive drug and alcohol use. “My heart’s only beating like 25 percent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, then everything will be all right,” he said. Ray went on to thank his fans for all of their prayers.

    At the beginning of the month, Ray J was hospitalized with pneumonia and chest pains. According to reports, the singer had X-rays and an echocardiogram done.

    This hospitalization comes four years after he suffered from a severe case of non-COVID pneumonia. He was placed on oxygen and given an inhaler. During his first hospital stay he revealed that he was going to die.

    “I thought it was over,” Ray J said during that time. “I started praying and knew God is good, so I just kept praying.”

    Ray J Hospitalized With Pneumonia And Heart Pain

    Prayers Up for Ray J. The singer has reportedly been hospitalized in Las Vegas for pneumonia and heart pains.

    According to reports, the “One Wish” singer received X-rays and an echocardiogram, but no further information has been released. The news of Ray J’s hospitalization comes a few years after his first health scare.

    Back in 2021, the 44-year-old had a bout with pneumonia that was serious enough to draw concerns that it could have been fatal. The doctors in Miami revealed that he needed oxygen and an inhaler, but he made a full recovery. His illness was declared unrelated to COVID-19, although it happened during the pandemic.

    Before his recent hospitalization, Ray J was arrested in November after getting into it with his ex-wife, Princess Love, while live-streaming on Twitch. He had accused her of being drunk while trying to take their two children from their house.

    During the live stream, Ray J allegedly pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot Love. “I’ll kill you… Get the f**k out of here, you in my house,” he yelled. “I’ll shoot the f**k out of you.”

    The reality star has filed a request to have her divorce from husband Ray J dismissed just two months after filing. It has been reported that the request was filed on July 6th, in Los Angeles.

    This past May, Love filed for divorce from the singer turned reality star, with a rep of couple speaking on Love’s decision. “It’s a very difficult time for both Princess and Ray J and we are asking that we just let them have their privacy as they work through and deal with this trying situation.”

    The pair share two beautiful children together, Melody Love and Epik Ray Norwood. It’s good to see these two working things out.
