Today is the first day of June, which means that we are officially in Black Music Month.
As many of you may know, music is considered to be the universal language that brings us all together. Music is expressive, powerful, impactful, poetic, real, and so much more.
This month, I will share some of my favorite music from all genres as well as release exclusive interviews with music artists, DJs, and everyone in between within the music industry, (yes you will have to subscribe to listen).
For now, I will kick off this month with one of my favorite albums of all time, Michael Jackson’s Thriller. This album was one of the first ones that I remember purchasing with my own money.
Being introduced and a huge fan of the King of Pop, I already knew that I was going to love this album, however, when I listened to the album, I made it my mission to learn every word, beat, and adlib on this album.
As we are coming up on the 40th anniversary of the world’s best-selling album, it’s only fair to kick off this month with Thriller. I hope that you enjoy it.
