The only way Chris Rock will be speaking on the infamous slapping incident the took place at the Oscars is if he is paid to do so.
Two weeks ago, the world was shocked when the comedian was slapped by Will Smith after his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, became the butt of one Rock’s jokes.
Since the incident, Rock has not released an official statement, and according to reports fans may not get one without being paid.
During one of his comedy shows, Rock told the sold out crowd, “I’m OK, I have a whole show, and I’m not talking about that until I get paid.”
He also said to the crowd, “Life is good. I got my hearing back.”
In the days after slapping Chris Rock, Will Smith has resigned from the academy and he was also banned from attending The Oscars for the next ten years
