NE-YO is switching it up with his newest single, “Up, Out, & Gone.”
The singer released his second country-inspired single on his label Compound Entertainment/ Atlantic Outpost. The song is a blend of smooth R&B with modern country elements, which sets the tone for an “easy, feel-good record.”
This song follows and keeps the momentum of his first country-inspired album, “Simple Things.” It also follows NE-YO’s milestone moment of celebrating 20 years of his debut album In My Own Words, which has the breakout hit single “So Sick.”
Aside from this release, NE-YO is set to co-headline the “Nights Like This” global tour with singer Kehlani, featuring Akon. The tour is set to start on Friday, April 24, in Dublin, Ireland, and will hit 57 cities, including London, Paris, Atlanta, Houston, and more, before ending in Inglewood, California, on August 21.
NE-YO is currently working on other projects as well. He recently made his Broadway debut in Hell’s Kitchen, a multi-award-winning production created by Alicia Keys.
“Up, Out, & Gone,” is streaming now on all platforms.
