T.I. talks about his son, King Harris, getting involved in his beef with 50 Cent and wishes that he hadn’t.
During an interview on The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show, T.I talked about King clapping back at 50 Cent after he posted a photo of Tiny Harris as a way to troll the Harris family. When asked if he enjoyed seeing his son get involved, he said no.
“No, I don’t enjoy it,” the Atlanta rapper said. “I spent so much time trying to get this lil n***a off the ledge. Now, he has justifiable means to undo all of the teaching that I’ve been teaching.”
He added that he is proud of King and his other son, Domani, for protecting their mother. “I’m a logical, reasonable man of respect,” he said. “I raise my children to be men of respect. Logical, reasonable, and not to be emotional. The one thing that I am proud of this is that the women and children in our families see that it’s a line of men that’s here against who the f**k ever.”
T.I. continued, “We not here to defeat. I’m here to defend. I’m here to protect what’s ours. I’d die in the streets about this s**t here.” He later said there was a moment when he believed that King went too far which was when the young rapper wore a shirt with 50’s deceased mother on it.
“I said that’s enough when I seen that T-shirt. I’m big on treating people the way I want to be treated. I don’t just be out here doing unto others how I don’t want to be dealt with.”
T.I. and his children have released multiple diss tracks at 50 Cent, who has yet to retaliate with his own music, and it seems like he isn’t going to. 50 seemingly took a break from posting his memes on social media about the Harris family and began to focus on his TV achievements.
“I know what you’re thinking, how is this happening, it’s very simple, I’m on,” he wrote in his Instagram caption. “I’ll take these L’s! LOL GLG GreenLightGang.”
