Sherri Shepherd Hopes To Have Chris Brown On Her Show

Sherri Shepherd reveals that she would love to have Chris Brown on her talk show, “The Sherri Shepherd Show.”

This revelation came after she had actor Jonathan Majors on as a guest after he was found guilty of harassment and reckless assault in the third degree.

In a recent interview with Vulture magazine, Shepard started her conversation by talking about Majors. “I’ve always been a fan of Jonathan Majors; he’s an amazing actor. … I wanted to hear his side of the story. I’ve always been a person who is a believer in grace and second chances — and I want to give you a space to come on and say how you feel,” she said. “And I love Meagan Good, and I also wanted to honor her because I know that a lot of people were against her for even partnering up with Jonathan.”

In March 2023, the LoveCraft Country Star was arrested and charged with assault following a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. After the trial was over and Majors was sentenced, Jabbari issued a lawsuit citing claims for assault, battery, defamation, malicious prosecution, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. They would eventually settle in November 2024.

Shortly after the verdict, Majors was dropped by Marvel after he starred in a few projects. He was also released from Dennis Rodman’s 48 Hours in Vegas.

Shepard added, “I wanted to give people a chance to see the other side of him.” This led to her saying that she would also like to do the same for singer Chris Brown.

“I would love to have Chris Brown on, but it’ll be a lot of backlash,” she said. “Sometimes it comes with the territory. I was prepared for it with Jonathan.”

Chris Brown’s legal troubles began in 2009 after he was arrested for physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna. In 2024, an Investigation Discovery documentary called Chris Brown: A History of Violence was released and it further explained Brown’s alleged conduct while maintaining a strong media presence.

Chris Brown is currently on his Breezy Bowl Stadium World Tour which celebrates 20 years of his debut self-titled album, Chris Brown. Hopefully we will get to see this one-on-one sit down between Sherri Shepherd and the “Run It” singer one day.
