Latto Seemingly Throws Shade At Cardi B On New Album

It looks like Latto and Cardi B are at odds.

The situation began after Cardi called “Big Mama” a p***y a** during one of her rants. Since doing so, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper publicly apologized and said that she was going to buy her bag. However, it seems like Latto has not accepted the apology. On her new song, “Gimme Dat,” Latto rapped, “B***h said what? Let’s clock it/ Really got a Hermes store in my closet/ Talkin’ ’bout buying big mama a bag like my n***a ain’t already bought it.”

The diss comes after a phone conversation from last year between Cardi B. and Ice Spice’s manager was leaked, while Cardi was threatening to knock Ice Spice out. “You think I’m f***ing p***y-a** Latto?,” Cardi said.

The Bronx Native later went on social media to clarify the situation. “I was ranting and hot at the moment but I f**k with Latto HEAVY!! I respect everything about her including her team that’s so sweet… AND NOPE! I’m not too prideful to apologize to somebody I really respect, so this my public apology and now ima privately buy her bag.”

The day before the call was leaked, Latto was seen giving Cardi B her flowers to TMZ. Hopefully, these two women can settle their differences soon.

  • Morris Day And Other Artists Pull Out Of Trump’s ‘America’s 250th’ Celebration

Morris Day And Other Artists Pull Out Of Trump’s ‘America’s 250th’ Celebration

Morris Day and The Time, as well as other artists, are already dropping out of the lineup of Trump’s “America’s 250th Birthday Celebration.”

The free event will take place on June 27 at the National Mall with a lineup including Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, The Commodores, Young M.C., Morris Day, and The Time, C+C Music Factory, and more.

When the announcement was made, Morris Day and Young M.C. released statements saying they would not be part of the show. “I have been informed by my agents that I will not be performing at the Freedom 250 event,” Young M.C. wrote on his Instagram.

He continued, “The artists were never told about any political involvement with the event. And despite the claims by the organizers that the event is non-partisan, SPIN magazine describes it as Trump-backed. I hope to perform in D.C. in the near future at an event that is not so politically charged.”

Morris Day also posted, “It’s a no from me. Contrary to rumor, Morris Day & The Time will not be performing at the “Great American State Fair.”

Freedom Williams, the frontman of C+C Music Factory, also revealed that he wasn’t aware of being on the lineup until fans pointed it out. “He didn’t mention Trump. I’m getting all these texts, ‘We’re gonna cancel C+C Music Factory, this is going to be a terrible show,” Williams said.

He continued, “So I told my agent, `Yeah, no, I ain’t good to do that’… I don’t f**k with Trump. I don’t give a f**k about Trump… I know the type of f***ing anarchy he creates. But the day I let you motherf*****s tell me what to do is the day I die.”

Williams stated he will still perform, and he’s not afraid of being canceled.

  • New Yorkers Are At Risk Of Losing Their SNAP Benefits By June

New Yorkers Are At Risk Of Losing Their SNAP Benefits By June

New Yorkers may lose their SNAP benefits by June 1st, according to Mayor Mamdani.

A new federal law, passed last year under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, revealed that SNAP funding will be cut by 20%. The rules were changed under work requirements, and those who qualify for benefits, and which food could be purchased through the program.

Regarding the work requirements, the Human Resources Administration (HRA) must change the eligibility criteria for Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents on SNAP.

SNAP recipients are required to adhere to the work requirements that began on March 1, along with the benefit reductions set to begin on June 1.

According to reports, there were more than 1.7 million NYC residents on SNAP as of March 2026. With this new law, more than 300,000 households could lose some or all of their benefits.

“Food stamp work requirements don’t create jobs; they create hunger. If the federal government wanted to help people find work, it would invest in public jobs programs and guarantee a living wage,” Mamdani said about the requirements.

“Instead, it’s punishing people who are already struggling to survive. These rules took effect on March 1, meaning benefit reductions could begin as early as June 1.”

For a person to qualify for SNAP under the new requirements, they must meet the following:

    • Do not live with a child under age 14 in your household
    • Are not pregnant
    • Are not caring for someone who cannot do care for themselves
    • Do not have any mental or physical barriers from employment.
