It looks like Latto and Cardi B are at odds.
The situation began after Cardi called “Big Mama” a p***y a** during one of her rants. Since doing so, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper publicly apologized and said that she was going to buy her bag. However, it seems like Latto has not accepted the apology. On her new song, “Gimme Dat,” Latto rapped, “B***h said what? Let’s clock it/ Really got a Hermes store in my closet/ Talkin’ ’bout buying big mama a bag like my n***a ain’t already bought it.”
The diss comes after a phone conversation from last year between Cardi B. and Ice Spice’s manager was leaked, while Cardi was threatening to knock Ice Spice out. “You think I’m f***ing p***y-a** Latto?,” Cardi said.
The Bronx Native later went on social media to clarify the situation. “I was ranting and hot at the moment but I f**k with Latto HEAVY!! I respect everything about her including her team that’s so sweet… AND NOPE! I’m not too prideful to apologize to somebody I really respect, so this my public apology and now ima privately buy her bag.”
The day before the call was leaked, Latto was seen giving Cardi B her flowers to TMZ. Hopefully, these two women can settle their differences soon.
