Lil Wayne Updates Fans On His Forthcoming Album ‘Tha Carter VII’

Lil Wayne may be getting ready to release a new album.

During a recent appearance on “Wake Up Barstool,” Wayne revealed that Tha Carter VII may be coming very soon. “I got albums coming as well,” he said. “But I don’t know when, if they’re going to just name it Tha Carter VII or they’re going to wait for another album and name it that. But I got music for days.”

Although he gave that special update, Wayne didn’t reveal a potential release date or title for the forthcoming album. Fans began to quickly question if the “Lollipop” rapper has any control over the album.

This news comes after it was revealed that Lil Wayne secretly got engaged to an unknown woman from Indiana. What are your thoughts on this?

Steve Harvey Tells Young Men Not To Be Like Diddy

Steve Harvey sends out a stern warning to young men urging them not to be like Diddy.

The warning came during an interview Harvey did on the One on One with Kris Fade podcast. While speaking with Fade, the media personality explained how a man’s actions towards women will determine his future.

“He’s in prison right now,” Harvey said about Diddy. “He was old enough to really get it together, but he didn’t.” He continued, “You have to practice acts of kindness. You’ve got to be a gentleman through it all. Look, man, dude’s going to have more than one chick. Okay, cool. I got that right there. But you don’t have to be abusive with it and abrasive with it.”

Harvey went on to share his reaction to the video of Diddy physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in a 2016 surveillance video. “When that video came out… You sitting going, ‘Wait a minute. Hold on, man. What you doing?’ Bro, for you to be a public figure, wrap a towel around yourself, and run down a public hallway, not knowing who’s at that elevator… and that’s your reaction to his girl?” he said.

He continued, “So now that’s what we caught on tape. That’s the one that’s on tape. That’s the one that’s out in the public in front of the elevator. My goodness, what’s been going on when you ain’t in front of the elevator? Now you know it’s got to have been magnified back there. So now you’re just not a good person. You can’t run it like that cuz now you got to pay. And the thing about sin is: sin costs you more than you want to pay and makes you stay longer than you want to stay. And that’s what he’s in now.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs was found guilty on multiple counts of violating the Mann Act. He’s serving a 50-month sentence at a federal facility in New Jersey. He was also sentenced for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, related to his “freak-offs.”

He also talked about ever running into the disgraced mogul, “I knew him, but it was some things that I had heard about that kept me away from him,” Harvey said. “I got invited, ‘Hey man, we throwing a party.’ Nah.’ You don’t see me nowhere. I don’t go to the white party, the blue party, the pink party, the panty party. I ain’t nobody’s party. Steve Harvey is going home.”

Queen Latifah Revisits The Time She Publicly Came Out

Queen Latifah opens up about the time she decided to publicly come out.

In 2021, while accepting the Lifetime Achievement award at the BET Awards, Queen Latifah gave a special shoutout to her partner, Eboni Nichols.

During a recent interview with Angie Martinez, the New Jersey native explained why she decided to do it at that moment. “Well, it was Pride Day and s**t, and I can’t do just regular s**t,” she said.

Martinez laughed and said Latifah chose to do that. For many years, the “Ladies First” rapper had been quiet about her sexuality until that moment.

“I was getting a Lifetime Achievement Award, and I didn’t want to leave out the people who were part of the lifetime. That’s it. It was so not more complicated than that. It’s funny, because it’s not always that deep,” she said.

Latifah continued, “When I was growing up, or kind of hanging out, people, even in this business, are just so fascinated about people’s private lives. Is it because you’re curious? Is it because you’re intrigued?… I mind my business.”

She added, “This is not for me. I told everyone around me, don’t bring that s**t to me… I know a lot about a lot of different people, but it’s not really my place for me to share their business necessarily, you know?”

Queen Latifah will host the American Music Awards on Monday, May 25.
