The hip-hop world has suffered a horrible loss. Influential hip-hop legend, Jimmy Spicer has died.
Spicer, who was best known for his 15 minute long rap “Adventures of Super Rhyme” died of Stage 4 Lung and Brain cancer. Spicer’s daughter, Leticia Ricks, informed the New York Times of the devastating news.
According Ricks, her father was diagnosed with advanced Stage 4 lung and brain cancer last year and was transferred to a hospice once his condition worsened.
The family started a GoFundMe page to receive help with covering medical expenses and the a final farewell for the legend.
Many of Spicer’s friends and fans went on social media to pay tribute to Spicer.
