Blueface Reveals He’s Been Released From Prison

Blueface is officially home.

The rapper, who spent two years in prison, has confirmed that he has been released. In a video posted on social media, the “Thotiana” rapper said that he was a free man. “Still that n***a, two years later, on the dead homies,” he said in one of the clips. He went on push people to follow him on Instagram because he plans on making his page private.

According to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation records, Blueface became eligible for parole this month. In January 2024, he turned himself in to the authorities after he violated his probation for a sentence he received for a shooting that occurred in Las Vegas in 2022. In August 2024, he was sentenced to four years in prison for battery and probation violation.

Before his release was confirmed, Blueface’s parents hinted that he may have been let out of prison. “Today is the end of a chapter in my family’s life,” his father wrote on social media. “Tomorrow is the beginning of a new chapter in my family’s life. Can’t wait.”

Last month, his mother, Karlissa Saffold, revealed that he was days away from being released from jail. “Well, today I got a call and I can’t tell you exactly cause he’s like, ‘Don’t be telling my exact date,’” she said. “I have the coming home party. Make sure you guys get your tickets for the celebrity Blueface coming home party. I’m going to be picking him up with his kids. His girlfriend got us a limo, so you know I’m excited.”
