The Queen of Tejano still reigns supreme 22 years after her tragic death. On November 3rd, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has made Selena apart of the 2017 class to receive stars on this year’s Hollywood Walk of Fame.The late singer was the first ever no musician to win a Grammy in 1994. She has broken down barriers for other Latino musicians to follow in her footsteps.During her illustrious career, Selena had a number of hits including “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom”, “Como la Flor”, and “Dreaming of you”. Not only was she a singer but she was also a businesswoman. Selena started her own clothing line and opened her own clothing store in Corpus Cristi, Texas called Selena Inc.Selena’s life came to an untimely end but her music and legacy will live on forever. The star will be placed in front of the Capitol Records at 1750 N. Vine Street. The singer released her debut album with Capitol EMI. The ceremony will begin at 6:30pm and her sister Suzette will be accepting the honor on her sister’s behalf.
