Juice WRLD’s mother is finally speaking out since the death of her son this past Sunday.
In her statement released to TMZ, Carmella Wallace addressed the addiction issues that Juice struggled with.
““We love Jarad with all of our hearts and cannot believe our time with him has been cut short. As he often addressed in his music and to his fans. Jarad battled with prescription drug dependency. Addiction knows no boundaries and its impact goes way beyond the person fighting it. Jarad was a son, brother, grandson, friend and so much more to so many people who wanted more than anything to see him defeat addiction.” ”
Juice WRLD died at Chicago’s Midway Airport after suffering a seizure. On Monday, it was reported that an official autopsy will be conducted on the rapper stating that “additional studies are required to established the cause and manner of death.” Reports also say that, the authorities were waiting on the rapper and his entourage upon landing after the pilot called and stated that they had three gun onboard.
Upon landing, witnesses say that Juice had taken a handful of Percocets which may have caused him to have a seizure.
As of right now, there is no official cause of death of Juice WRLD. He was 21 – years-old.
