The moment 90’s babies have been waiting for has finally come. Brandy has finally confirmed that a ‘Moesha’ reboot will be coming back.
The announcement was made during Sheryl Lee Ralph’s DIVA foundation event that was held earlier this week. Ralph, who played Brandy’s stepmother Dee Mitchell asked the ‘I wanna be down’ singer “We would like to know, would you like to do a Moesha reboot?” Brandy’s response was, “Yeah! Absolutely. I’m here to solidify that we’re gonna bring ‘Moesha’ back.
Moesha premiered in 1996 on UPN and ended in 2001. The show also starred Marcus T. Paulk, Shar Jackson, Countess Vaughn, William Allen Young, Ray J, and the late Lamont Bentley.
In 2017, the cast reunited for the first time in 16 years. Watch the video below.
