This case just took a turn.
Rapper T.I. and Tiny are reportedly under investigation by the LAPD over the allegations of sexual assault.
Pitchfork reports that a woman, who is remaining anonymous, has filed a police report back in April with two LAPD officers. She claims that the couple brought her to a hotel room and was given a drink by Tiny where she believed that she drugged. She also claims that T.I began to touch her vagina with his toes without her consent.
This alleged assault took place in 2005. Another police report was filed Las Vegas last month.
Steve Sadow, the attorney for T.I. and Tiny released a statement on their behalf.
“The Harrises have not spoken to or been contacted by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD) or, indeed, any member of law enforcement from any other jurisdiction in the country. Even assuming the story in the Daily Beast is close to accurate, it appears the LAPD “accuser” has chosen once again to remain anonymous, thereby preventing us from being in a position to disprove or refute her allegations—or even examine them. Meanwhile, although we now appear for the first time to have the name of an “accuser” who supposedly filed a police report with LVPD, we have absolutely zero details about her or her claim.”
Tyrone Blackburn is representing that woman who filed the police report in Los Angeles. Im February, Blackburn sent letters on behalf of 11 people who also claim that they were also victims of the Harrises, seeking criminal investigations.
The couple and their attorney have constantly denied this allegations against them.
