R.Kelly Has Been Charged With Bribing A Government Official To Marry Aaliyah At 15

It’s been 25 years since R.Kelly was married to 15-year-old Aaliyah, but the singer has finally been charged for it. 

Kelly was charged with bribing a government official to get a fake ID for the teenage singer. The indictment was filed on Thursday (December 5th), in a Brooklyn courthouse that states “a fraudulent identification document for Jane Doe #1 on Aug 30th, 1994.”

According to reports, a person familiar with the situation confirmed that Aaliyah was the Jane Doe that was referenced in the court documents. It is stated on an Illinois marriage license the two were officially married on August 31st, 1994. The marriage license listed Aaliyah’s age at 18 but she was really 15 years old. In 1995, the marriage was annulled. Aaliyah died in a plane crash in 2001. 

R.Kelly’s attorney has yet to respond to the new charges. 

UH OH! Joycelyn Savage Parents Is Taking Legal Action Against Blogger Tasha K

When it comes to their daughter, The Savages do not play!

The parents of Joycelyn Savage have reportedly taken legal action against famed blogger Tasha K. As reported by Complex, Timothy and Jonjelyn Savage has filed a cease-and-desist letter that accuses the blogger of defamation and unwarranted attacks against them.

Some of these attacks include allegations of them creating social media accounts as an attempt to made a profit off of their daughter, drug abuse, and attempting to appear on Good Morning America and more.

The blogger, Tasha K has also accused them of creating a Patreon account posing as their daughter, which has since been taken down due to being unable to verify. The Patreon account was posted on Joycelyn Savage’s Instagram account where she stated that she would reveal her truth about her relationship with R.Kelly.

As mentioned earlier, Patreon took the account because they were unable to verify if it was really Joycelyn’s account. “After multiple unsuccessful attempts to verify the identity of the account holder, we closed the Patreon page allegedly associated with Joycelyn Savage due to potential impersonation. All patrons who signed up for the membership page were refunded and the creator did not receive any funds.”

The Savages have denied being the actual account holders.
