Don Lemon Arrested By Federal Agents In Los Angeles

Don Lemon has been arrested and is in federal custody.

The journalist’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, released a statement revealing the shocking news. “Don Lemon was taken into custody by federal agents last night in Los Angeles, where he was covering the Grammy awards,” the statement said.

The statement goes on to call out the Trump Justice Department for not investigating the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who were gunned down by ICE agents in Minneapolis. It also calls Lemon’s arrest an attack the First Amendment, which journalists are supposed to be protected under.

Lemon’s arrest came after a Minnesota church protest. He was charged with violating a federal law by impeding people’s right to worship during an anti-ICE protest at Cities Church in Minneapolis on January 18, reports say.

We are keeping Don Lemon in our prayers and will update you when more information becomes available.
