Queens Artist Poiison Closes Out 2025 With A Hometown Giveback

Poiison, an artist and songwriter from Queens, NY, brought the holiday spirit to her hometown at the end of 2025.

The Queens’ native hosted the “My Heart, My Homie- A Holiday Giveback,” an event that took place at her former middle school, Elizabeth Blackwell M.S. 210Q. The event was put together in partnership with Adidas, Queens Community House, and The Doux to support students and their families.

The event provided the children with free haircuts, haircare, and skincare products, Adidas gear, and other essentials. This event was a full-circle moment for Poiison as it focused on giving back and uplifting the youth.

During the giveback, the kids were surprised with an appearance from fellow Queens native and rapper Bay Swag. Swag recently was a part of another holiday celebration with Cash Cobain and the Children of Promise NYC Foundation.

Throughout her career and journey, Poiison has made it a priority to giveback to the community that raised her. While sitting in one of the classrooms of her old middle school, she shared a piece of advice she would give her younger self.

Cash Cobain and Bay Swag Host Holiday Celebration For 40+ Teens

Cash Cobain and Bay Swag decided to spread some holiday cheer to 40+ teenagers in New York City.

Earlier this week, the rappers partnered with Sei Less to support over 40+ teenagers from the nonprofit organization Children of Promise whose families have been affected by the criminal justice system.

The teens enjoyed some of the restaurant’s delicious meals and had the opportunity to speak with Cash Cobain, Bay Swag, and the restaurant’s co-founder, Dara Mirjahangiry.

As the event continued, Cash, Bay, and Dara all received the Children of Promise NYC Holiday 2025 Community Impact Award for their continued commitment to community outreach.

“Being here today is very important to me,” Cash said. “I love doing things for the kids because some kids may never get opportunities like this, so I’m lucky to be here.”

Bay Swag added that it’s important to him because he, like a lot of kids, has someone from their family who’s incarcerated. “I’m looking forward to doing more events like these,” he said.
