    Novelist Toni Morrison Has Died at 88

    The world is mourning the loss of fame novelist Toni Morrison. According to her publisher, Morrison passed away on Monday night, she was 88 years old.

    Morrison was best known for her best selling and critically acclaimed novel Beloved, which won the 1988 Pulitzer prize. Morrison also became the first African American woman to win a Nobel Prize in Literature.

    Some of Morrison’s other works of literature includes Jazz (1992), Paradise (1997), Home (2012), and God Help the Child (2015). Toni Morrison broke barriers for many others to come along and she wrote through her toughest times.

    As reported by Vulture, in 2010, she wrote about the death of her son “I stopped writing until I began to think, he would be really put out if he thought that he had caused me to stop.”

    During the end of her Nobel Prize speech, Morrison ended with these words, “We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language. That may be the measure of our lives.”

    Earlier today it was reported that all charges against “Empire” star Jussie Smollett have been dropped.In mid-January, Smollett claimed that he was attacked by two white men wearing MAGA Hats, who spewed racial and homophobic slurs at him. In a surprising court hearinf held today in Chicago, the 36-year-old’s attorneys made the announcement in a statement. “Today, all criminal charges against Jussie Smollett were dropped and his record has been wiped clean of the filing of this tragic complaint against him”. On March 16, Smollett was charged with 16 felony accounts of disorderly conduct in which he was accused of lying on the police.Chicago’s Police Superintendent, Eddie Johnson was reportedly ‘furious’ that the charges were dropped. Johnson also stated that he found out about the charges dropping while at an academy graduation. Johnson believed that the evidence against Smollett were ‘rock solid’

    Leaving Neverland: A Documentary About Michael Jackson’s Sexual Abuse Set to Premiere at Sundance

    In light of the recently released docuseries Survivng R. Kelly, a series that documented the singers sexual assault, abuse and relations with both minors and older women, a new documentary is in the works and this time it’s about the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.Leaving Neverland, a four-part documentary that will tell the story of two men,now in their 30s, who allegedly had a full relationship with Jackson, when they were 7 and 10 years old. The film will be shown on two consecutive nights and it was approved by British broadcaster channel 4.Jackson’s family and estate have already denied and denounced these allegations about Jackson, claiming that this is another plot to extort money from him. Back in 2005, Jackson was acquitted of child molestation charges.The documentary is supposed to premiere at the Sundance movie festival later this year.There is no official release date on when the documentary will air.
