Lana Del Rey surprised her fans with the release of her new song “Love”, after posters of the singer were being displayed all over the Los Angeles area. The song, which was leaked then before being officially released by the singer, and fans are being brought to tears…literally.
In a recent press release via Pitchfork.com, Del Rey stated “I made my first 4 albums for me, but this one is for my fans and about where I hope we are all headed”.This is Lana Del Rey’s first single release in two years since her last album, Honeymoon, was released. Halsey Makes A Huge Donation to Planned Parenthood
This past Saturday the very successful women’s March on DC was held and it inspire many women to take a stand against President Trump and his team. One of those women in particular was pop sensation Halsey. Halsey marched alongside women just like her and felt compelled and motivated to do more.As reported by Elle.com the New Jersey native took to Twitter to deliver this message to her followers:”Today, I marched on Washington in solidarity with the women I love. The CIS women. The trans women. The WOC. The single mothers. The LGBT. Women of every religion, class, and origin. And the men that supported these women. I marched with stitches in my stomach, my pelvis, and my vagina. I marched in pain and I marched in comfort. The comfort of knowing that I am recovering from a surgery that treats endometriosis, a disease that ravages the reproductive organs. A disease that put my body through hell. The emotional and physical hell of a miscarriage at 20 years old. A disease that would have remained dangerously untreated without the services Planned Parenthood offered me years ago. A clean, caring facility that treated me with compassion, treated me like a warrior. A facility I turned to because I trusted it. A safe place. I am honored to have supported Planned Parenthood as one of the many causes that put me on the streets of Washington D.C. today.”Following this tweet, Halsey set a challenge for every re-tweet that she gets on that specific tweet it will earn a $1 donation. The $1 turned to $100,000 and it since been donated to Planned Parenthood. -

True R&B is back and it’s being presented by an artist on the rise; The Silent Celeb. The Silent Celeb or Silent is that true definition of bringing that old school R&B vibe to the new school R&B Era. The singer, who hails from the Bronx, NY, first introduced to many, including myself, during the first years of The Dean’s List and No Boys Allowed tours. Although many thought that she was a rapper, but surprised everyone when she started singing and singing songs that many people of this generation can relate too. Since her introduction, Silent has been traveling to different cities and states trying to get herself put out there in the music industry, even though it wasn’t easy. Despite what the critics thought about her as an artist, as a singer and as a female, she managed to overcome those barriers and in doing so she recently released a six song project entitled The Silent Celeb Project.
Since the release of this six song project it has become the highlight of the underground music world and on social media as well. Each song on this project will effect each listener differently because of the message that each song possess. From Quote Me that talks about a scenario that we all have been in one time or another, finally speaking to that special someone that you have been crushing on for a long time, to Good Music, where Silent expresses her frustration about the challenges that she faces everyday trying to make it in the music industry.
