Since the lovely songstress released the song earlier this month, there have been a countless number of covers of this heartfelt song. One of the best covers to date comes from Reggae Songstress Alaine. Known for her hits such as Love, Loud and Clear, Sacrifice, No Ordinary Love, etc. She has made her mark with this cover. Re-releasing this song as a reggae version is a great way to show how much of an impact this song has on people across the globe.   • VH1 Big Music 2015 Recap!

    imageIf there was one word to sum up VH1’s Big Music in 2015 You Oughta Know it would have to be PHENOMENAL! Personally, I didn’t think that they could have topped last year’s list of artists but I was wrong. For those of you who don’t know what VH1’S You Oughta Know is its a live show that let’s some the year’s newest and hottest artists perform live for their fans and Thursday night was no different. The musical line up was unbelievable. Tori Kelly, Ella Henderson, XAmbassdors, Elle King, George Ezra, Rachel Platten, James Bay, Nate Reuss, Miguel and Hozier, the 2015 Artist of the year winner, all graced the stage with their unique and powerful performances and even gave the audience and viewers some surprises. The start of the show was a duet by James Bay and Elle King as they performed the Ike and Tina Turner classic Proud Mary, which got the crowd really hyped. But you know there’s no such thing of a great show without a great host and Mel B. did not disappoint with her co-hosts Salt -n- Pepa. These ladies kept the entertainment coming and the presenters were great as well.imageFrom Legendary singer Gladys Knight, to comedians Jay Pharoah and Hannibal Burgess and many more. Every artist listed above performed the hits that launched there career to superstar status. The end of the show was also another duet by Hozier and Tori Kelly who performed a newer version of the all time classic of Blackbird. Here is the video of this beautiful performance.
