Trump was quoted saying, “When you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon — you just see them thrown in rough — I said, ‘Please don’t be too nice”.Once the speech given by Trump was over, many people took to social media to express their frustrations, and anger about the outrageous comments that were made.     We all know how passionate Janelle Monae is about female rights and gender equality. She has made her presence felt at different political events, such as the Women’s March that stood against president Trump’s views on women and has even made her voice heard during the Black Lives Matter Movement. Now the Grammy Award-winning singer has found a new way to voice her opinion on her gender equality.The 31 year old Grammy award winning singer has suggested that women should stop having sex until more men stand together for gender equality. In an interview with Marie Claire’s Fresh Faces, the Hidden Figures star stated;

    “People have to start respecting the vagina. Until every man is fighting for our rights, we should consider stopping having sex. I love men. But evil men? I will not tolerate that. You don’t deserve to be in my presence. If you’re going to own this world and this is how you’re going to rule this world, I am not going to contribute anymore until you change it. We have to realize our power and our magic. Because I am all about black-girl magic, even though I’m standing with all women. But this year? This year, I am so carefree black girl.”

    More power to the “V”!
