Colin Kaepernick Still Trains For Another NFL Shot

Colin Kaepernick is not giving up hope on returning to the NFL.

The 36-year-old hasn’t played in the NFL since 2016 after he knelt during the national anthem before each game. He recently revealed that he still trains if he gets the call to return. “We’re still training, still pushing,” Kaepernick said. “So hopefully, we’ve just got to get one of these team owners to open up.”

He went on to express how important it will be for him to return to the NFL. “I mean, it’s something I’ve trained my whole life for. So to be able to step back on the field, I think that would be a major moment, a major accomplishment for me. Also, I think it’s something that I could bring a lot to a team and help them win a championship,” he said.

In 2022, Colin Kaepernick had a formal training session with the Raiders, however, he never got signed to the team. A year later, he wrote a letter to Joe Douglas, the general manager of the Jets with the hopes of joining the team.

“I am sure of my ability to provide you with an elite QB option if, God forbid, QB1 goes down,” he wrote in the letter. “However, I know that there may naturally be uncertainties from you and possibly from others about my playing abilities.”

He continued, “This plan, I believe, allows me to be of great service to the team as a practice squad QB, while also giving you a low-commitment chance to assess my capabilities to help in any other capacity as you may see fit.”

After writing his letter, Kap received a lot of support from his peers including J.Cole who posted the letter in his Instagram story. Do you think that Colin Kaepernick should be back in the NFL?

Big Sean Reveals Why He Hasn’t Married Jhené Aiko Yet

Big Sean

Big Sean is opening up about his relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Jhené Aiko.

While on Charlamagne Tha God’s podcast, “Out of Context,” the rapper talked about why he has not married Aiko yet and if there is a possibility of a secret marriage soon. “No, no there has not been a secret industry marriage,” Sean said. “It’s a little personal, you know what I mean? But just like to be real with you, just like any people who have dealt with love, we’ve had our ups and downs, you know what I’m saying? And I think it’s still finding the right navigation through it all.”

He goes on to clarify that “marriage symbolizes the best relationship” and believes that “having a relationship is first and foremost.” Big Sean continued, “I feel like a lot of people get the ideas of like, ‘Oh, you have to get married,’ but then it’s like, to me, that’s almost a fear-based way of thinking, too. Because then people be getting divorced. The divorce rate’s so f**king high.”

Although he didn’t go in-depth about his relationship, he did say that marriage is still a possibility. “I feel I can only speak for myself that there needs to be more work done so we could keep going.” Big Sean and Jhené Aiko first got together in 2016, shortly after she divorced producer Polo da Genius. In 2022, the couple welcomed their son, Noah, making him the rapper’s first child. Aiko has a 15-year-old daughter, Namiko, who she shares with her ex-boyfriend, O’Ryan.

Cry it Out & Leave It There

When I was younger, i used to be teased for always crying. I was called a crybaby for crying about everything. It got to the point where i decided to no longer cry and hold everything in.

as i got older, i realized that crying is a form of release. it doesn’t mean that you are weak, but it means that you are actually strong enough to recognize that you need to let out that wall of emotions in order to feel better.

so my advice to you is to cry it out and once you do, leave whatever you feeling in the place that you’ve cried and move on. There’s no point in bringing it with you.

it’s time to leave the baggage behind, and look forward.

Change Your Surrounding To Grow

The late nipsey hussle once said, “If you look at the people in your circle and don’t get inspired, then you don’t have a circle. you have a cage.”

It takes change to grow. It may hurt, it may feel uncomfortable, it may not be easy, but it is all necessary and for those who don’t want to grow with you, you have to let them go.

It will work out for you in the end.

Unlock Your Security Wrapped up in your purpose

First, let me apologize for not giving you your affirmation Yesterday, It was an emotional day for me. However, I am back with a new one and this one was inspired by my one of my best friends, Melvin.

I was listening to a song that he recorded a few years ago, “work It Out,” and at the end of the song he said, “Your Security is locked up in your purpose, so release it now with your worship.”

I sent him a screenshot of the song, and he revealed to me that he was scared to move forward with certain things, I reminded him of his powerful words that just resonated with him a few minutes earlier.

So my message for you is to unlock whatever you have locked inside of you. it’s time to release it. you’ll feel better afterwards.
