The fashion world has suffered a major lost today. Famed fashion designer, Kate Spade was found dead in her New York City apartment by an apparent suicide.According to the police, the designer was found hanging by her housekeeping staff and a note was left as well. It is unclear what the note said.Spade, became a household name in the fashion world after she founded her company in 1993. Since then, the company has grown with over 140 stores and outlets in the United States and over 170 stores internationally.Kate Spade was 55 years old.
