The world has been waiting for this!
During Grammy week, Ava DuVernay announced that she is working on a new documentary about the late Nipsey Hussle.

This wouldn’t be the award winning director’s first documentary. In 2017, she directed the Oscar-nominated movie, “13th”, which focuses on the mass incarceration and injustice of African Americans and Latinos .

There is no set date as to when the documentary will be released on the streaming service but according to close sources of DuVernay, the film will be going to Netflix, where his family will have some say in it.

Back in March of 2019, Hussle was gunned down outside of his clothing store “The Marathon Clothing”, he was only 33 years old.

The will be produced DuVernay and the rapper’s Marathon Films.
