Album Review: Cardi B: Invasion of Privacy

Cardi B has proven to the world that she did not come here to play. At the stroke of midnight, on April 6th, the Grammy-nominated rapper released her debut album “Invasion of Privacy”. The album has already become certified Gold due to her song “Bodak Yellow” which has 5X multi-platinum status according to Chart Data’s Twitter account in less than 24 hours.
“Invasion of Privacy”, is as personal and real as it gets and there is a song for everyone to enjoy, relate to and potentially become a personal anthem. From “I Do”, featuring SZA, that is more of an empowering song for women, to “Best Life”, featuring Chance the Rapper, or “Get Up 10”, that comes off as more motivational, the Bronx native has made her mark in this rap game. This 13-track album also features Migos, Kehlani,21 Savage, Bad Bunny and J Balvin, a sample of Project Pat, and a snippet of Cardi singing. This album will have you all in your feelings.

Jimmy Fallon gave an early congratulations to his Cardi B from his Twitter account. Cardi B is also the first ever to co-host The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. That episode will air on Monday Night on NBC.
