Black History Month: Bob Marley


Bob Marley is undeniably the best Reggae artist of all time. Born in Jamaica,the singer/songwriter captivated and generated a wide variety of fans from all over the world with his music. Marley was a part of the group The Wailers, and they reached success in 1972 when they got a contract deal with Island Records. During his musical career, Bob has had a successful run with the Wailers and had a mumber of major hits like Redemption Song, Could you be loved, No Woman,No Cry, Three Little Birds and many more. In 1981, Bob Marley passed away after his battle with cancer, but he will be forever loved, respected and known as Reggae music’s world ambassador with over 2 million records sold worldwide. In 1994, Bob Marley was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
